TIPS:
Most restaurants in the Florida
Keys feature seafood, and do it well. Local fish you
may want to try include yellowtail snapper,
mahi-mahi, grouper - just about anything featured in
the catch of the day. Stone crab claws are in season
mid-Oct to mid-May and are a special
taste treat. Local Florida lobster are in season Aug
thru April. Conch (pronounced "konk") fritters are
also a specialty you will love. Round it all off
with Key Lime pie. There are a lot of Florida Keys
restaurants, we tried to categorize them for you,
although many may overlap. |
